You Are MOST WELCOME To Enjoy This Pair Of Awesome Bangla Trailers!
While I'm a big fan of South Asian films, I must admit that Bangladeshi (Bangla) popular cinema has completely escaped me. Once in a while I'll trawl youtube for trailers, but those searches are typically fruitless, but not today.

Yesterday while casually browsing the net I came across a pair of trailers for some big budget Bangla action/comedy features that have suddenly leaped to the top of my must-see list.  Both films are produced by Ananta Jalil, a Bangladeshi industrialist who not only acts, directs, and produces, but also owns a slew of diverse companies in Bangladesh, including an Effluent Treatment Plant, Polo Flat Bread Print Unit, and AJI Apparel Industries Ltd. That is quite a resume.

The first film is last summer's biggest box office hit, Most Welcome. I know next to nothing about the film apart from the fact that it co-stars baby-faced heroine Sneha Ullal, who some diligent readers might recognize from my favorite Telugu film of 2010, Simha. Apart from that, I know zilch, except that this trailer is fucking incredible. There is singing & dancing, amazing stunts, questionable CGI, and a guy in a superhero mask doing some Matrix style shit, Bangla style!

The second film hasn't released yet, but is scheduled for a 2013 release, and that is Nisharto Balobasha (Selfless Love). I know even less about this one except that its trailer is nearly four minutes long, and they manage to cram so much amazing into that four minutes that I'm tempted to travel to Dhaka just to fill in the gaps.

Take a few minutes out of your busy day and enjoy, you've never seen anything like this!

Bangla Cinema is NOT BANGLADESHI CINEMA . It is the regional Cinema of Bengal Province
