AnarchyVision: Talking PARKER, HANSEL & GRETEL, JJ and ARGO

In this week's episode of Twitchvision, I chatted with Scott Laurie about the abysmal Parker, the only slightly less abysmal Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, the "nerdgasm" felt by some when J.J. was announced as director of Episode 7, and yet more talk about Argo and how it keeps seeing success, even if an Oscar win seems a mighty longshot.

Very nice to see a Twitch guy out there, but the player is TERRIBLE: doesn't upload, stops all the time, one really has to WANT to see it!

I hear you - we're working with the broadcaster on getting an embedded version. Coming soon we hope!

Still, glad you =want= to see it! :)

" I chatted with Scott Laurie about the abysmal Parker"
What did Jason Statham do you, Mr Gorber....?
Well.....I will see it someday.....keep up the good work Mr Gorber.

Anytime, Mr Gorber, anytime :) I used to be a film critic myself (in France), and am now moving to the "other side" (in Taiwan!). Now Twitch is one of my two "Must Go" websites when it comes to daily movie news, hence the interest on my part.

hah... well, my PARKER review's there, where I go into a bit more detail :)

Jason GorberJanuary 29, 2013 10:40 PM

Ah, bon voyage, glad to hear we're a site that you like to frequent, it's certainly been nice being part of this team

I saw the review and then typed my question......but I got some sense of real animosity.....about how you say: "Statham is usually good in the first film then bad in the sequels......"
Those are fighting words, Mr Gorber.

Granted, Statham is no shakespearan actor but you don´t like him......I get it.

But it really that bad....?

Either way it doesn´t matter Mr Gorber, I´ll see it ANYWAY!

Jason GorberJanuary 31, 2013 10:03 PM

Yes, it really, really is that bad
