Malaysian Fight Action In Gritty ONE ON ONE (1 LAWAN SATU)

Given the massive success of The Raid at the Indonesian box office it comes as no surprise that producers in both Indonesia and neighboring Malaysia are scrambling to find new fight stars of their own. And while it doesn't appear to have the same international ambitions as The Raid it would appear clear that upcoming Malaysian effort 1 Lawan Satu - which translates loosely to One On One - have found not just one but a handful of fighters with legitimate skills.

A raw and gritty affair there are clearly some growing pains to get through here but the cast of Mikael Andre, Azlan Komeng, Fyza Kader, and Along Eyzendy showcase a range of legitimate silat skills fused with a willingness to just plain brawl and the two primary performers - I can't find anything to say which two they actually are - showcase a great raw energy and natural charisma.
