You can thank - or blame - the massive international success of Sex And Zen 3D for this one: Director Rupesh Paul has launched production on English language erotic drama Kamasutra 3D with Sherlyn Chopra in the lead. It's a project Paul openly acknowledges will likely never be released in India due to local censorship but his backers are counting on international sales to turn a profit in the endeavor.

How explicit could it possibly get with a local cast? Well, Chopra is already notorious as the first Indian to pose nude on the cover of Playboy so it's not like she's worried about protecting a family friendly veneer.

As with Sex And Zen 3D, Kamasutra is being shot is proper stereoscopic 3D which begs the question of how it is that when relatively low budget sex flicks can see and appreciate the superiority of actually shooting in 3D big budget Hollywood productions are still going the post conversion route.
