THE BODY, CITADEL Win Big at Paris International Fantastic Film Festival
According to the team responsible for the Paris International Fantastic Film Festival, "going to see horror and fantastic films on the big screen today is a militant act." This quote from the awards press release should give you a decent idea of the programmers and organizers' passion and dedication for genre film. This isn't a festival where you just show your ticket, zone out and watch Silent Hill: Revelations on closing night. At PIFFF, twenty faceless nurses terrorized spectators as they made their way to the theater.

Similarly, the festival called in the heavy hitters from France's fantastic film scene to chair their jury, including Xavier Gens (Frontier(s), The Divide) and Pascal Laugier (Martyrs, The Tall Man). Their choices, along with those of the short film jury and the audience are below. Congratulations to all.
