Entertainment One Gets STUNG
Entertainment One (eOne) has picked up the U.K., Canadian, South African and Scandinavian rights for Stung, the giant killer wasp creature feature being co-produced by Germany's The Rat Pack and XYZ Films, the executive producers of The Raid: Redemption and the owners of ScreenAnarchy. XYZ Films' international sales arm, Celluloid Nightmares, handled the sale.

Benni Diez, a visual effects supervisor on Lars von Trier's Melancholia, will direct Stung from a script by Adam Aresty. Stung is set at a fancy garden party that goes wrong when a local species of wasp mutates. It is left to two catering staff to thwart the giant insect onslaught. Win!

Stung is set to begin shooting in Europe in Spring 2013. Check out the awesome test reel below.
