Justin Lin Tackling SciFi Comedy SUBDIVISION

Justin Lin isn't going to go on making The Fast And The Furious movies forever - at least we don't think he is - and with the director having turned that franchise into one of the strongest and most financially successful action franchises in cinema history the game is on to get him lined up with whatever may be next. Lin has been linked to new Highlander and Terminator films in the past year but here's a little something else:

Universal have just picked up new science fiction comedy script Subdivision from writers Alex Ankeles and Morgan Jurgenson with Lin attached to, at minimum, produce and possibly direct. Ankeles and Jurgenson's previous script, Hyperdrive, was on the 2011 Black List while Jurgenson was also a writer on 2010 cult hit Tucker And Dale Vs Evil, so they've certainly got the writing chops to make good.
