First Image From Swedish Thriller I AM MY OWN Gets To The Point.

From the same group that brought you the spiritually laced drama Marianne and the upcoming drama Break of Day (Gryning) comes a new drama thriller I Am My Own (Jag Är Min Egen). Johan Bergqvist, one of the producers of Gryning, is currently wrapping up post production of his feature film debut. "In the far stretching forest landscape of Sweden, M, a drug dealer on the run from the law for killing a cop gets in to the position where he has to care for a baby girl. With the child's welfare in peril he pursues a deadline to deliver a batch of the killer drug Grunt to his notorious boss, before escaping the country."

Bergqvist wrote, directed and produced his film through CAFÉ NOIR, with JÄMTFILM as associate production company, and will make the festival round in 2013.
