Second Trailer For Stephen Fung's TAI CHI 0 Shows Off The Steam Driven Tank
Soon to arrive at the Toronto International Film Festival, Stephen Fung's Tai Chi 0 is quickly establishing itself as the most anticipated Chinese language martial arts film in quite some time. It marks the return of Fung - one of the region's brightest young talents - to the director's chair, for one thing. It features a promising new on screen martial arts talent, for another. Plus it's got a steam driven tank. A really big steam driven tank.

TIFF describes the film very succinctly like this:

Young genius Yang Luchan travels to Chen Village to learn the forbidden secrets of martial arts, but quickly learns that the village is menaced by a formidable battalion of Steampunk soldiers. The villagers realize that in order to save their home, they must trust this strange outsider with their knowledge of Tai Chi.

The first trailer for this one was an absolutely fabulous bit of work and now that has been followed in China by a second effort, one that focuses far more on story details - which don't come across so well thanks to the lack of subtitles - as well as showing off some of the steampunk aspects of the film.
