HOLLOW has a trailer
Anyone who has visited Great Britain knows that you cannot visit any village over there (big or small) without virtually stumbling over the damnedest pieces of history and ghost stories. It should come as no surprise that someone would make an England-based found-footage horror film using just such a premise. Michael Axelgaard did exactly that and his debut film is called "Hollow".

This is the official synopsis:

"An old monastery in a small, remote village in Suffolk, England has been haunted by a local legend for centuries. Left in ruin and shrouded by the mystery of a dark spirit that wills young couples to suicide, the place has been avoided for years, marked only by a twisted, ancient tree with an ominous hollow said to be the home of great evil. When four friends on holiday explore the local folklore, they realize that belief in a myth can quickly materialize into reality, bringing horror to life for the town."

"Hollow" will be released by Tribeca Films in the US through various On Demand channels on the 19th of September. They have also made a trailer available and here it is.
While there are obviously some strong resemblances to "The Blair Witch Project" to be seen here, word of mouth on this film has been quite positive since its world-premiere at Fantasia. Rumor has it Michael Axelgaard and scriptwriter Matthew Holt have focused more on characterization and less on shaky-cam and jumpscares.

And I kinda dig the one-sheet above, in an Eighties "Death Ship" way.
