Trailer For Chinese Fantasy Animated Film DRAGON NEST: RISE OF THE BLACK DRAGON
Its not too much of a stretch for a video game to transition into a CG animated film since both medium is very much alike.  Most video games usually contains cinematic sequences that basically plays similarly to an animated film so I reckon Dragon Nest: Rise of The Black Dragon would be just the same but with a longer time duration.

Produced by China-based animation studio Mili Pictures, the fantasy film is based on the popular online MMORPG, Dragon Nest from Shanda Games and Eyedentity Games.  The script is penned by Terry Izumi who was supposedly one of the screenwriters for DreamWorks Animation's Shrek. A film trilogy is already planned for the future with this being the first part.
50 years ago (from the present time in game), Black Dragon appeared in the once peaceful land of Altera. Under the order of the King, the young Geraint, Argenta, Velskud and other legendary heroes assembled various forces to form the Dragon Slaying Alliance. This incident was widely referred as the First Dragon Invasion by the generations to come. However, what exactly happen during this incident? Where are these heroes after the dragon invasion? The movie will reveal the story and mysteries behind this epic historical event.
The theatrical release date is in the third quarter of 2013.  You'll find the trailer embedded below.
