Dates and First 2 Films Announced For This Year's Japanese Film Festival In Australia

Space Brothers 1.jpgAustralia's Japanese Film Festival (JFF) is here again! Well, it is actually still a few months away, but you know it will be worth the wait, right?

Today, the organizers have announced the dates for the two flagship cities for the Festival, Sydney and Melbourne. So please mark the dates in your diaries:

For Sydneysiders: November 14 to 25
For Melbournians: November 29 to December 9

Two titles in what promises to be another amazing program are the award-winning manga turned live-action film Space Brothers, along with Japanese Academy Award winning Director Takashi Yamazaki's (Always 1, 2 and 3) newly animated feature Friends: Naki on the Monster Island.

This year's Festival will also be touring Perth, Hobart and Canberra, as well as Darwin and Cairns, for the very first time!
