Concept Art Reveals The Enemies That ROBOT TAEKWON V Could Have Fought
Back in 2008 was when we first caught wind of South Korea's beloved 70's animated film Robot Taekwon V getting the live action treatment in a highly anticipated project that was expected to rival the Transformers for giant robot supremacy.  There were some promising test footage demonstrating the CG shots of the Tae-Kwon-Do-kicking robot in action and several concept art of its designs.  However, with no news update on its progress nor any cast & director attached and the release date constantly delay year after year, I can only assume (to my dismay) the film has fallen into developmental hell along with other ambitious projects that never saw the light of day with Imagi Studios' Gatchaman, Dutch horror film Worst Case Scenario, and China's big-budgeted sci-fi underwater flick Empires of the Deep.  No doubt many of the fans of the classic cartoon is disappointed.

For those wondering what we would be missing out on, Josh Nizzi, the concept artist of the recent summer blockbuster, The Amazing Spider-man and The Avengers, has posted some of the robotic enemy foes at his official site.  As usual from his previous artwork, the designs looks very cool and I can only imagine the potential for staging some awesome battles with these bad boys.

You'll find the concept art in our gallery below.
