Prolific Japanese director Takashi Miike just does not stop. His latest film, a live action adaptation of the manga Ai to Makoto, also known as The Legend of Love and Sincerity, is opening across Japan on June 16, after playing at Cannes under the title For Love's Sake.
It is a high school romance about two people from two different worlds. The boy Makoto is played by Satoshi Tsumabuki (Villain, Villon's Wife, Pandemic, School Days with a Pig), while the girl Ai is played by Emi Takei who has appeared in some television series and will be seen in a number of Japanese films due for release this year.
You saw the trailer here at ScreenAnarchy earlier this year, and now a 4-minute film clip of a song and dance number has become available.
