Wright And Pegg Start THE WORLD'S END in September!
The trio of Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost need no introduction. Much delight have they brought us with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. And for years fans have been left wondering when they would get the third instalment of what has been affectionately dubbed The Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy. Well, the trio are going to bring about The World's End soon enough as filming begins in September!

Working Title and Edgar Wright have set a September start date for The World's End, the last in a trilogy of comedies that started with Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz. Wright, who'll direct, wrote the script with Simon Pegg.

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End is the least of their worries.

No doubt Pegg and Frost will be two of the five reunited friends. Care to take a guess as to who will fill the other three spots? Dylan Moran? Bill Bailey?
