UK film festivals: Win tickets to LIVID at Bradford 2012!
UK ScreenAnarchy readers! Fancy dropping in on the 18th Bradford International Film Festival later this month? Got a taste for strange, experimental French horror? The nice people at the National Media Museum, where the festival takes place, have let it be known there's some tickets up for grabs. Two pairs, to be exact, to see Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury's sophomore horror flick Livid, screening as part of the festival's Bradford After Dark strand and introduced by the directors themselves.

Bustillo and Maury won widespread recognition among genre fans for the bloody woman-in-peril thriller Inside (2007), which along with movies like Pascal Laugier's Martyrs (2008) and Alexandre Aja's Haute Tension (2003) brought worldwide acclaim for the new wave of horror filmmakers coming out of France at the time. But where some of these rising stars - like Aja - decided to have a go at making it in Hollywood, Bustillo and Maury were more interested in pursuing their own visions of what horror ought to be. Thus their second feature, Livid:

Lucie is a young nurse employed to care for elderly patients with varying degrees of dementia. One of her patients stands out from the rest - renowned former dancer Madame Jessel, who now lies in a comatose state in her decaying mansion. After hearing the rumour that the wizened old woman has a small fortune hidden away amongst the dust and darkness, Lucie and two friends break in to investigate. As they search the house, their curiosity and greed lead them down a path of unspeakable terror as they enter a nightmarish world within the walls of Jessel's labyrinthine home.

If you think you might want to check out Livid at the Bradford International Film Festival:

The tickets are for the 9:30 pm screening of Livid on Saturday April 21st at the Bradford Cineworld only.

There are two pairs of tickets available, for two winners.

Tickets will be available for collection from the front desk of the National Media Museum no later than 9pm on the night. (The Cineworld cinema is around a 10 minute walk from the museum.) Winners must have a working email address to enable them to collect the tickets.

Got all that? Good. To enter, get yourself on Twitter and reply to the @ScreenAnarhcy account when this post turns up (replying specifically to the tweet mentioning tickets to Livid) with the answer to the following simple question:

What is the original French title of Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury's debut film Inside?

Winners will be chosen at random from the correct entries on Wednesday 18th, and notified ASAP after that.
