Stellar New PROMETHEUS Trailer Tips All Sorts Of Secrets
If you don't want to know what you're in for with Ridley Scott's upcoming Prometheus, do not watch the new trailer. Not necessarily because it contains spoilers - it's hard to say for certain not having seen the movie but I don't think it does - but because after plenty of tease this new trailer is the first one to dive head long into the story. And, oh yeah, the links to Alien are abundantly obvious.

A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

I shouldn't be giving my heart away so easily. I hope I am not setting myself up for disappointment.

Joshua, don't worry, Ridley+sci-fi = pure cinematic gold! how can this not eat, chew and spit out not only every wannabe alienesque sci-fi that has pitifully tried to follow in Aliens wake in the last 30 years, but probably most of the multiplex fodder that will be on show at the same time, even the rest of the year?!
I used to be a total sci-fi/horror fanboy ( some 20+ years ago) but watching this trailer has sent me spiralling back 20+ years, I'm counting the days until it's released, I probably won't see it straight away, work and family life takes precedent over the fanciful whims of parent, but I will drag other mates to see it and discuss it over a few pints after. And no doubt be emptying my schedule for an Alien/Prometheus double blu ray fest when it gets released!

I gave my heart to Ridley back in '82 when I first saw Alien on TV, it feels more like an old flame coming back into the fold than anything else, all the old feelings are back....!
