First Poster Art For William Kaufman's SINNERS AND SAINTS 2!
Just a little while ago, ScreenAnarchy brought you the exclusive news that Sinners and Saints 2 will be going into production this fall, with William Kaufman and Johnny Strong returning, and Chad and Evan Law (who worked with Kaufman on The Hit List as screenwriters and One in the Chamber as associate producers) penning the screenplay.

Director Kaufman and leading man Strong have been busy preparing for Sinners and Saints 2. While fans of the first film will have to wait till 2013 to see the much anticipated sequel, for the time being they can admire the first poster art that has just been released.

Nice poster, i hope they have a bigger budget to play with than the first film?

Hugo OzmanApril 28, 2012 3:43 AM

I think they probably will, arturo, considering how well-received the first film was, and the fact that the sequel is planned for theatrical release.

Yeh keep me updated Hugo, will sure to check this out in the cinema..

Hugo OzmanApril 28, 2012 7:56 AM

Certainly, arturo. Will work hard to keep you and the others updated about Sinners 2. Many thanks.

2013 ? wish it was this year but i can wait if i have to, should be some good un action with a bigger budget.

Hugo OzmanApril 28, 2012 2:53 PM

Yes, Roy. 2013 release is what is planned for. Shooting will start in the US fall season, which correlates with Spring in Australia.

This was honestly the first action movie i've watched that I didn't really pay attention to what the budget might have been. For me it was all in the way the action was done. There advisor on the film is a legit baddass. His name is Sonny Puzikas. Google him if you want. I remember watching it for the first time and the part with the gangster shooting "G" style missed by a mile. Friend told me it was impossible to miss someone no matter how you hold the gun from that distance. I took him out shooting and he couldn't hit a thing holding the gun that way. The shootout with Cole in the middle of the movie, for me, is up there with Heat. You don't see that kind of tactical movement a lot in movies.

Thanks for the insight, andrewcdub. I remember Will Kaufman telling me about the film's tactical adviser being Sonny, a former Russian Special Forces operative.

In case you missed the interview previously, here's a link:

I actually remember that interview. The Sonny comment was just for people that might have not known about him. Guy is awesome. He was in an episode of Deadliest Warrior I think also. I went back to the article before this one at the beginning of the month and that guy G saying he got laughed out of his house or whatever. My opinion is they have no taste for action films lol.

Thanks again, andrewcdub. I am glad we share the same taste for action films. ; )
