What does it signify about our culture that this is finally being made available on DVD? Why that companies like Warner want to make money off their dormant back catalogue. This 1986 animated adventure series probably has enough fans out there to justify some sort of release and this bare bones effort is likely the last anyone will hear about this show. It's on MOD so be aware that it will come loaded on a single DVD-R but you do get the complete 5 part 110 minute mini-series that launched the show. YOU DO NOT GET the 65 episodes that made up the show's run. Presumably that will be available for MOD later if sales of this go well. In the late 21st century, a mad inventor unleashes a horde of killer cyborgs and only an elite team of heroes--the Centurions--stand between a peaceful world and the evil that wishes to enslave it.
