First Shots Of Song Kang-ho In Yoo Ha's HOWLING
A police thriller involving both spontaneous combustion and a vicious animal? In the wrong hands it sounds like the recipe for a horrible B film but coming from former poet turned writer-director Yoo Ha and with The Host star Song Kang-ho in the lead upcoming Korean effort Howling is one to watch for.

An action drama, where the truth of a 'wolfdog' related to the case reveals itself to 'Sang-gil', a veteran crime squad detective who is investigating a series of murders through natural combustion, and newly appointed female detective 'Eun-young'
Thanks to films like A Dirty Carnival, Once Upon A Time In High School and A Frozen Flower, Yoo Ha has become on of Korea's most respected directing talents and the reel of footage shown at the AFM from Howling promised something typically high quality from him. Check out a gallery of the first four stills from the film below.
