George Miller Adds A Third Story To His MAD MAX Reboot
It was all the way back in July of 2010 that ScreenAnarchy broke word that George Miller's Tom Hardy starring reboot of Mad Max had expanded from one film to two with Miller planning to shoot Mad Max: Fury Road and Mad Max: Furiosa back to back. The weather has been unkind to Miller since - uncommon levels of rain leading to a burst in plant growth on the location that they planned to use as their post-apocalyptic wasteland - but he has not been idle while waiting for things to scorch and dry out once again.

No, far from sitting on his hands, Miller has instead written a new script - the title as yet unknown - to expand the reboot out to a trilogy. Miller's producer Doug Mitchell spilled the news in an interview with the AFR - scroll down, it's at the bottom of the piece - and while it's not clear whether this third film has been approved it is certainly Miller's plan to continue should the reboot be met with success.
