FANTASTIC ASIA FILM FESTIVAL TICKET GIVEAWAYS (MELBOURNE ONLY)
The Fantastic Asia Film Festival (or FAFF) takes place 10-13 November (THIS WEEK!) at Cinema Nova Carlton and is the best in cutting edge, sexy blood soaked Asian-genre greatness!

Just some of the highlights from general festival days include Sion Sono's Guilty of Romance, Iguchi's Karate-Robo Zaborgar and direct from Fantastic Fest Zombie Ass, Hong-jin Na's prolific The Yellow Sea, the super original Invasion of Alien Bikini and the noir martial-art-fused Wu Xia! We haven't even touched the surface here!

To get your hands on a double pass, in 25 words or less just state the film you'd most like to see and why.

Competition ends Wednesday AEST 5:00 PM, sound off in the comments below, and for inspiration check out our line-up right HERE

Twitch, partnering with FAFF will bring you news and reviews over the coming days so stay tuned folks!

I am very keen to see Karate Robot Zaborgar, because I honestly don't know the odds of that one making it to DVD in Australia.

I'd like to see Underwater Love because it looks hilarious and may even be an interesting cultural experience!

Guilty of Romance cos i missed it at MIFF - and after watching Love Exposure & Cold Fish I have to see pretty much everything Sion Sono makes.

MattNovember 8, 2011 3:59 PM

Yakuza Hunters, just to see if Japan can make Pinky Violence as weird & crazy as it did back in the 1970s!

CoreyNovember 8, 2011 5:45 PM

Pink Fish! I'm writing on 60s ero-guro, and like Miike's 13 Assassins, which references Ishii's Orgies of Edo, Pink Fish is of this tradition.

By the way, I hope you don't follow the clock above, it's actually just quarter to 10am, not 5.45pm!

I wanna see Yakuza Hunters cos I have the framed poster on my wall and I feel like a dirty bird for not having seen it yet...!

Excrement covered,
Zombies awoke to kill us,
Vomit, laughs ensue.

StueyNovember 8, 2011 7:41 PM

Let The Bullets Fly: Coz who wouldn’t love an “oriental western-action-comedy” in the style of a spaghetti western set in a place called Goose Town?

Yac GraeNovember 8, 2011 8:01 PM

Yakuza Weapon; because guns being fired by Japanese women inexplicably arouses me.

SandraNovember 8, 2011 9:16 PM

Milocrorze, because it sounds so crazy. I love musicals and love gore.....and I'm not adverse to a bit of titillation. It's a win, win!

StuNovember 9, 2011 12:57 AM

Sex and Zen because I believe in the power of sex to redeem 3D cinema from pointless oblivion!
