AFM 2011: Elijah Wood Is Alex Aja's MANIAC
Frodo is getting a makeover in the Alexandre Aja produced remake of William Lustig's cult 1980 horror hit Maniac.
Wood will be taking the lead role in the Franck Khalfoun (P2) directed remake scripted by Aja and his regular writing partner Gregory Levasseur with Nora Arnezeder taking the female lead.
It's unclear how much actual screen time Wood will receive however, given that there are rumblings of plans to shoot the entire film purely from his perspective: What he sees, the audience sees, meaning he'd only actually appear onscreen in reflections.
