THE THING Red Band Trailer!

Whoah! You might call this a bit spoilery since it does reveal characters being thing-ized but HOLY MOLEY the film just went up a notch on the "Need To See It" meter.  Even if it does prove to be more or less a remake of Carpenter's film (which...uh...was a remake people) it is looking good. The real question is whether this new film will try to match the tense dialogue energy of the first film or settle for a series of effects sequences cut together with standard setups.
