The Zombie Apocalypse Arrives In Mexico With LOS INFECTADOS
Director Gareth Edwards proved that it is possible to create a large world with a tiny crew in Monsters and now it would appear that Mexico's Alejandro Alegre is doing the same thing with his zombie horror Los Infectados.
Now screening as part of the first feature competition in Mexico's Guanajuato International Film Festival, Los Infectados tells the story of a small band of human survivors hidden away from a global zombie apocalypse in the remote hill country of Mexico. But there's no such thing as a safe place once the food supply runs short in the big cities and soon zombies begin to appear there as well.
Shot on a micro budget with Alegre handling all special effects himself the trailer looks quite strong. Check it out below.
