There's something just not quite right about that girl.
Director Paul Campion created quite a stir with his short film Eel Girl, a scifi tinged horror picture with a darker than dark sense of humor at its core. The whole thing was a riff on male desires and Campion is working that angle - though without the humor - once again with his first feature The Devil's Rock.
Campion enlisted the help of WETA star Richard Taylor for the practical effects on this one, and with the film freshly completed the first trailer has just been launched. Check it out below.Set in the Channel Islands on the eve of D-Day, two Kiwi Commandos sent to destroy German gun emplacements to distract Hitler's forces away from Normandy, discover a Nazi occult plot to unleash demonic forces to win the war.
