Christopher Doyle Now Credited As Co-Director Of Takashi Shimizu's RABBIT HORROR 3D
Looking at the image posted to the left of director Takashi Shimizu on set of his upcoming Rabbit Horror 3D it's hard to imagine that he's saying anything other than "No, Chris, that's okay. I don't need another Heineken."

Chris in this case would be Christopher Doyle, the famed cinematographer with the larger than life personality who is making his first foray into the 3D world by shooting the latest for the director of Ju-On and The Grudge. At least we thought all that he was doing was shooting the film but the IMDB profile has been updated recently and now lists Doyle as a full co-director.

An offshoot of Shimizu's earlier Shock Labyrinth, there is a lot of curiosity around Rabbit Horror both because of the insane title and the first images from the shoot which revealed that while, yes, there are rabbits they are all clearly plush toys. Shimizu has gotten shocks from less than that before but it's all so gleefully silly that I can't help but wonder what's in store. Particularly if Doyle does indeed now have a greater role in the picture.
