Astounding Trailer For Sofia Carrillo's Award Winning PRITA NOIRE (BLACK DOLL)

The more observant among you may recall the name of Sofia Carrillo. A few years back we were absolutely blown away by her dark stop motion animated short Fuera De Control, a piece of work every bit as gorgeous as it was disturbing.

Well, when you create your work by hand, largely on your own, and animate frame by painstaking frame it can take a while to produce something new but Carrillo has done just that with her new effort, Prita Noire. Created entirely independently the film was awarded as the best short at the prestigious Guadalajara Film Festival in March and the trailer is now available below. It's not hard to see why it won.
