Trailer Arrives For Will Ferrell Dramedy EVERYTHING MUST GO
One of the pleasant surprises of the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival was indie dramedy Everything Must Go, a picture built on a surprisingly subtle and nuanced performance from leading man Will Ferrell.

Ferrell stars as a man having quite possibly the worst day of his life. He's fired from his job and his wife throws him out, leaving all of his stuff in heaps on their lawn. Having nowhere else to go he simply buys as much beer as he can afford and settles in on his front yard easy chair.

It's a very well crafted, challenging little film - one that makes no apologies for the abundant flaws of its lead character - and as much as I liked it I was very curious to see how something this different would eventually be sold to the public.

To my surprise: Honestly. The first trailer has just arrived and it catches the tone of the film very well. It's exclusive to Apple for now so head on over and check it out.

Adapted and directed by Dan Rush, and based on a short story by Raymond Carver, EVERYTHING MUST GO tells the story of NICK PORTER (WILL FERRELL) a career salesman whose days of being on top are long gone. The same day Nick gets fired, for falling off the wagon one last time, he returns home to discover his wife has left him, changed the locks on their suburban home and dumped all his possessions out on the front yard. Faced with his life imploding, Nick puts it all on the line - or more properly, on the lawn - reluctantly holding a yard sale that becomes a unique strategy for survival.
