The BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE Saga Continues With BLOOD-C
Originally created by Ghost In The Shell director Mamoru Oshii, Blood: The Last Vampire became a legitimate sensation when originally released. A high energy fusion of action and horror set in a world and mythology obviously much, much larger than the original film's slender running time everything about Blood said franchise.

And so it has gone, the Blood series spawning multiple books, video games, a live action adaptation and a television series since the original release. And there's more coming.

Production house Production IG have teamed with the designers at CLAMP to create Blood-C. This latest incarnation will come in two varieties: A television series to air in 2011 and a feature film to follow in 2012. What you see to the left is the first piece of art posted on the official site. No trailer for this one yet but we're keeping an eye out and will bring it to you as soon as one appears.
