SXSW 2011: THE DIVIDE Is Coming
Xavier Gens' apocalyptic horror picture The Divide is coming. And we mean that in more ways than one.
First, the world premiere of the picture at SXSW is coming up fast.
Second, tomorrow at around noon EST we will be premiering the first minute of the film exclusively here at ScreenAnarchy. And let me tell you, it's a good minute.
The SXSW description of the film is straight and to the point: To survive the end of the world...you must first survive each other. Beyond that I'll simply point out that the original title of the film was Fallout while directing you to the image below. Yes, this is part of the opening minute.
After the fiasco that was Hitman - a film entirely removed from Gens' control and reworked by skittish execs at Fox - this is the first time we've seen the French director fully in control since his debut, Frontiere(s). And I couldn't be looking forward to it more.
