'Skull World' and 'The Collapsed' getting worldwide sales rep from Raven Banner!
If you're wondering when you're going to be able to see either of Canadian director Justin McConnell's most recent films, The Collapsed and Skull World, hopefully it will be soon as both films have been picked up by local outfit Raven Banner Entertainment for worldwide distribution and sales. The Collapsed is already in the can and Skull World wrapped up shooting in Australia the previous month and is undergoing post.

Representation for both films will start in Berlin at the European Film Market in February. Trailers for both films as well as the press release are after the break.
Canadian distribution/sales company Raven Banner Entertainment has acquired worldwide  sales rights to the post‐apocalyptic horror/thriller THE COLLAPSED, and the cult/comedy documentary SKULL WORLD, both produced by Unstable Ground. The films will be  represented at the upcoming European Film Market, and will see festival play throughout 2011.

"With the market as it stands, indie film needs people that truly get where this business is going. While meeting with them at AFM last November, the Raven Banner team, Michael  Paszt and James Fler, impressed me with their somewhat revolutionary approach to sales.  The decision became an easy one. I'm  confident they will help the films reach the right audiences around the world," stated Justin McConnell, director of both films.

Michael Paszt, head of Raven Banner, added, "We are thrilled to partner up with Unstable Ground on both of these projects. Justin is part of a "new breed" of genre filmmakers emerging from Canada, and a perfect match for Raven Banner!"
