This is the perfect set for anyone who has ever wanted to dip into Elvis onscreen. The hi-def transfers look better than any other release out there and the audio is solid as well. Taking into account how old these films are it would be difficult to expect much more. Newly restored and remastered video and audio make this a no brainer for fans. Included are Elvis On Tour the Golden Globe Winning doc. Filmed in 1972 it catches the King at the heart of his comeback trail and offers a boatload of special features that look back at Elvis early rise to fame including his Ed Sullivan performance and a Martin Scorcese supervised montage. The other two films included here are Jailhouse Rock and Viva Las Vegas which both include commentary from music journalist Steve Pond. A couple of featurettes round out the special features here.
