There must be something in the water. Or the air. Either that or whenever foreign celebrities head to Japan somebody must slip them some acid because they all kind of lose their mind. Latest example: Louise Bourgoin, the star of Luc Besson's The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec.
With the Japanese release of the period-set fantasy adventure freshly in theaters, a full slate of TV spots and trailers have appeared on the Japanese website for the film and while those are interesting in themselves for the snippets of new footage and hyper-enthusiastic Japanese commentary the real gem here is the third of the TV spot, in which the local distributors overlay Bourgoin in casual street clothes speaking bad Japanese and trying to match the aforementioned Japanese enthusiasm. It's kind of gloriously daft. I've included all of the Japanese spots below with the goofy one kicking things off.
