Germany Gets A Little Bit Coen, A Little Bit Jensen With Hitman Comedy SNOWMAN'S LAND
Fresh off an appearance at the Edinburgh Film Festival, German black comedy Snowman's Land looks to be a local take on the sort of bleak, genre mashing humor that we've come to expect from the Coen Brothers on these shores or Anders Thomas Jensen out of Denmark. That is to say both clever and bloody. Here's a synopsis:

Hapless contract killer Walter has screwed up a hit badly, and he has to leave town FAST. Intent on keeping a very low profile, he agrees to take a job guarding Mr Berger's (a former underworld boss) house, in a remote area of the Carpathian Mountains, with his pal Mickey. Berger's wife Sybille turns up at the house unannounced, and shortly after, is killed in a freak accident. Fearing for their lives Walter and Mickey hide Sybille's body, but it's only a matter of time before Berger discovers his wife's fate, and a fight for survival begins for all parties involved.
Though response in Edinburgh was apparently a bit mixed the trailer looks like great fun and you can check it below.
