New trailer for Mexican sci-fi/noir 'La Pantera Negra'
In the Fall we first caught glimpse of the sci-fi noir mash up La Pantera Negra from director Iyari Huerta. The the trailer played a bit loose there was no denying the impressive visuals and sense of style. A new trailer has emerged and it is a lot better than its predecessor. You'll find both of them after the break.

Has there been any news on this? Like any sort of distribution?

I don't know if you check these old posts, but I saw this movie over the weekend and reviewed it here.

While I was watching it I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. But once it was done and I had time to think about it, I loved it. It's so rare to have that happen.

I saw this earlier this week at the Denver Film Fest, and it was a complete waste of time. I've been thinking about it all week as well, and still can't figure out what the heck all those story lines have to do with anything. A number of loose ends at the end of the movie and a couple disturbingly drawn-out alcoholic puke scenes left me wishing I'd spent my Tuesday night doing something else.
