Get Behind the Scenes of TEKKEN
Hot on the heels of the 20 photo stills posted yesterday for Dwight H. Little's Tekken, Discovery Channel's Stunt Stars ran a behind-the-scenes feature on the live action video game, focusing mainly on the stuntwork process. The hour long episode contains plenty of on-set footage and interviews with the stunt crew.  Among them is fight choreographer Cyril Raffaelli and his personal stunt team, who oversee the fight scenes with stunt actor Jon Foo and a Parkour sequence involving a risky high jump across two buildings.  It gets interesting when Raffaelli tries to assure Eric Norris, the stunt coordinator (and son of the all-mighty Chuck Norris!) that his stuntmen can make the jump without the safety boxes on the ground.  Their gung-ho attitude is really cool.  Don't ever accuse the French for being a pansy!

As with any role in the production of a film, I always have a strong appreciation for the stuntmen, the unsung heroes of Hollywood.  For all their physical contribution in films, not to mention all the blood, sweat and tears they shed, I believe they don't receive as nearly enough attention compare to a director or an actor, so I find it enlightening to be able to get a rare glimpse into their world.
