Nicolas, where do you find the time?  Hard on the heels of Bronson and Valhalla Rising and with not a single word of warning that this was in the works - no listing on the IMDB or at the Danish Film Institute - a trailer has just arrived for a new action comedy from Pusher creator Nicolas Winding Refn.

Starring veteran US character actors David Proval and John Capodice as a pair of aging mob enforcers the picture is titled Vinnie & Mario and is slated for a theatrical release in Denmark December 26th.  Check the trailer below!

Every Refn film has been cause for celebration, imo. I've yet to see Valhalla Rising though.

As far as Vinnie & Mario, is this going to be a mockumentary thing?

I'm kind of "meh" on the trailer.

But if it's Refn, I'm there. So far, for me at least, the guy has batted 100%

Richie!!! Damn, he's looking in worse shape than Tony Soprano.

Everything Refn touches is 'tit's and beer' . Can't wait to see him handle gangster comedy.

Is that you shootitinthehead? Give a brother a call some time.

Hey Josh! I've wondered where you've "been". I don't have your current number, email me at diemonsterdie@gmail and I'll get ahold of you. LOTS to catch up on!

And the director of Princess wins a cookie. You're right, Anders ... Refn confirmed it a little after I posted this, just asked me to keep it quiet for a day or two. He's done three more of them, apparently, and those should be coming soon as well ...
