Theatrical Trailer For The Spierig Brothers' DAYBREAKERS Arrives

Given the recent history of Lionsgate when it comes to releasing - or more accurately, not releasing - films greenlit before the current regime came to power, I have spent the past few months waiting for the other show to drop on the Spierig Brothers' vampire-action film Daybreakers and word to come that it, too, was being buried on the Lionsgate scrap heap.  After all, this is the last of the old-guard films left to come out and none of the others have been handled with any sort of respect or care, so why should this be any different.

Well, guess what?  After a very successful festival run that shoe aint dropping.  The wide release comes in early January and the full theatrical trailer has just arrived.  I'm not personally as big on this one as a lot of others are but it's still one of the best mainstream horror pictures in a good while and will be a nice vampiric antidote to all the Twilight madness.
