VENICE FILM FESTIVAL 2009: Todd's Thoughts On THE HORDE

Great concept.  Great promo materials.  But, good lord, The Horde might just be the worst film I've seen all year.  Bad writing, worse acting, a massive over-reliance on film speed up and dropped frames in the edit to make it feel exciting, constant continuity errors, 'heroes' too stupid to realize that doing the exact same things that have already failed multiple times will only lead to more failure, no sense of location, shoddy art design, iffy effects, you name it ... not only is there not a single decent character in this film there's not even a single decent stereotype.

I hearby publicly apologize for contributing in any way, shape or form to the anticipation surrounding this film.  Yech.
