Complete Toronto After Dark Lineup and Schedule!

Good times for T-dot if you love genre flicks and the intimate atmosphere of fans and filmmakers. The 4th edition of Toronto After Dark comes along two months early (August 14-21) with a healthy lineup of great genre cinema. Kicking off the festivities is Scott Sanders ode to Blaxploitation, Black Dynamite (and there is, later in the week, a chance to follow that up with a nouveau blaxploitation fusion Black). Then there is the offbeat UK-Romanian vampire flick Strigoi, as well as Kim Ki Duk penned meta-gangster flick Rough Cut. Lots of fun for the kids as well satanic spawn is featured in both The Children and Grace, the latter of which is the Closing Night Film. In between there is Trick R Treat, some steampunk (Franklyn), a little Japanese cult madness (Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl), Nazi Zombies (Dead Snow), Coffin Joe (Embodiment of Evil) and Peter Chan's epic The Warlords. A tonne of shorts and the proverbial much, much more. This one should be a load of fun.
