While Quarantine failed to make much of a splash ehre in North America the film that it is based upon - Spanish zombie film [●REC] - has been simply HUGE all around the world - except for North America where Sony has prevented people from seeing it so as to spare Quarantine any negative comparisons. And what do you do when you have a hit film? Particularly a hit horror film? You make more, of course! And while both directors involved in the original film had announced other projects that they were developing before the scope of [●REC]'s success had become clear, both have signed back on for the sequel which is slated to begin shooting on Monday. I don't understand a word of it, but you'll find the official Spansih press release below the break.

Basically it says the story will continue a few hours after the ending of the 1st movie (which is a GREAT idea) and that the team will repeat.
So glad to know~~
