Peacock Films Pty. Ltd. plans to release Ulli Lommel's Killer Pickton on DVD in Australia in October. The movie is a fictionalized account of the real-life serial murder of "as many as 125 Vancouver-based prostitutes and drug addicts over a twenty-year period" - although by the standards of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), it may constitute a "non-fiction film"/"documentary" (cf. J.T. Petty's S&man).

According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), the screenplay for Killer Pickton was written by Lommel and Jeff Frentzen; the movie stars Curtis Graan, Jillian Swanson, Heidi Rhodes, Kate Hackett, Anjeanette Stairs, Lauren Kruskall, Jill Pennington, Frank Godek, Marilyn Cortez, and Victoria Holland.

I can't get over the font they are using for the title. It's the same font as the show DEAD LIKE ME uses in it's titling. I think the font is called Chiller.

To the director,

I am grateful that Killer Picton will not be aired. Eventhough I am not related to any of the women who died so tragically, I am continually aware of the horrors that took place because I am a Canadian woman who lives in BC. To depict the travesty which took place on film, capitalizes on the sadness and great pain of what took place.

The whole world changed when the women's lives were taken and the families live with the permanent scars. So do the rest of us.

Thank you so much for respecting the dignity of the families who live on.

Hopefully the story will be aired sometime in the future, it is a tragic story for sure, but this is not the only tragic story that people have made into a movie how about Black Dahlia?..

I've watch the movie and love it. I thinks this Ulli Lommel best movie yet!! I agree with a comment above the actors were very well chosen I liked how Lommel used diversity in this movie as well...

I had a chance to view the movie in Australia and I loved it. It could have been a little longer I think but It was cool I am learning for Mr. Lommel whom I happen to know and admire his work very well done with all the actors in this movie I think is the best casting I've seen from him knowing that He hand pick his actors.

We will see more of Mr. Lommel I am sure..

I love this movie man Im a fanatic of Indie films Ulli Lommel has some guts to pick a story like that and make it into a movie.

I hope they consider this movie to show on T.V and i hope they use the same actors.

Sorry about all of you who think is disrepectful but it is just a movie.

i think it is wrong to make a movie like this so soon after the fact. i went to high school across the street from the pig farm and i think it is absolutely disgusting and disrespectful. i'm sure if your sister was dismembered and they found her remains with her hands inside her skull you would feel it was disrespectful too.

for those of you with the attitude that "it's just a movie", did you not ever stop and realise that although you're not watching the actual murderous acts themselves, you're watching a recreation of what actually took place on that farm? dozens of women actually had to go through all of this and now you sit and watch it on a tv screen strictly for entertainment. the whole idea of that has me really disgusted. the fact that the trial is not even over yet and all the families of the victims are having to face this nightmare every morning that they wake up is 100 times worse. try taking that into consideration next time you want to watch something sick like this for entertainment.
