The Great Horror Family was directed by Takashi Shimizu (episodes 11-13), Keisuke Toyoshima (episodes 1, 2, 7, & 8), Yûdai Yamaguchi (episodes 3, 4, 9, & 10), and Kenji Murakami (episodes 5 & 6). Here's a synopsis for The Great Horror Family from BEI: "Kiyoshi Imawano and his family have just found a new home; however, what they fail to realize is that the old residents have not moved out just yet. Soon enough the entire family, minus the occult-obsessed father, has somehow gained the power to see the ghost and spirits within the house. But that's just the beginning of things - an undead monk, secret government agents, even UFOs start showing up. It's up to Kiyoshi to find out why the house is troubled by all these strange occurrences, and save his family - and possibly the world - from inter-dimensional terrors."

Just heard by a japanese friend that is a very good dorama, sort of fusion between Ju-on and The Addams Family, must check it out.

this series was HILARIOUS. Me and a group of 6 friends rented it, watched it together and loved it so much we're all buying the dvd box set XD this was the most fun i've ever had watching a tv show. We thought it was gonna be really scary but it was actually really funny. I really reccommend it.

Great seris, not into scary movies but this was hilarious. My brother and I now toss imaginary things back and forth, much to the confusion of others.
