Kind of a two parter here ... following a lay off of a couple weeks after dhaking off their connection to the US Horror Channel and striking out on their own Johnny Butane et al are back with a re-launched Dread Central. Johnny and the boys do good work over there, covering an excellent blend of the mainstream and more obscure international horror titles and it's good to see them back in action.

And they've got good stuff in the first batch of updates in the re-launch ... you want an exclusive clip from Neil Marshall's The Descent? It's in there. But with no slight to Marshall's film - which I've seen and love - the big score is a batch of new behind the scenes photo's from Nacho Cerda's debut feature The Abandoned. Cerda, of course, is the insanely talented madman behind the notorious Aftermath and this is one of the more hotly anticipated international horror titles of the year ... get over there and get browsing.
