The official website for Scott Thomas' Plane Dead is online. There's a downloadable promo trailer for the movie on the website of production company Imageworks Entertainment International Inc.. There are five stills from the movie in the Fangoria article "First report/pics from zombie film PLANE DEAD".

The screenplay for Plane Dead was written by Thomas and Mark Onspaugh. The movie's principal cast is as follows: David Chisum, Kristen Kerr, Kevin J. O'Connor, Derek Webster, Raymond Barry, Dale Midkiff, Erick Avari, and Richard Tyson.

Here's a synopsis for Plane Dead from Imageworks Entertainment International's website: "'Plane Dead' is a special effects-packed sci-fi/horror/action thriller about a routine flight from LA to Paris on which a renegade scientist, on the run from the CIA, has smuggled a secret coffin containing the body of a scientist infected with a deadly genetically-engineered virus.
The 747 jumbo jet collides with two massive thunderstorms at once, which drops it into the eye of an inescapable storm. The non-stop turbulence triggers the release of the infected 'flesh eating' scientist from the cargo hold.
A life-and-death battle ensues as the virus turns the unsuspecting passengers into 'the undead', and the terrified uninfected passengers try to survive the flight they wish they missed.
Now, no government will allow the 'infected' 747 jumbo jet to land. Stranded in the air, the passengers have no place to hide from their ravenous tormentors....
Flying the deadly skies...."

Here's a description of Plane Dead from the official website for the movie: "RUN AWAY!
Looking for excitement? You've made the right choice. Only a handful of the survivors remain.... Now, the clock is ticking, the pilots are dead, no place to land, fuel is running out, the dead are hungry and they are coming....
Award-winning producer-director Scott Thomas leads this tour-de-force, non-stop, effects-packed horror chiller PLANE DEAD.
PLANE DEAD chronicles the 13-hour flight of trans-continental flight 107. It begins innocently enough, just another routine trans-continental flight aboard a 747.... This unfortunate flight's cargo area holds a horrifying secret, a metal case with a lethal virus that changes human beings into 'un-dead' killers in minutes.
This deadly virus accidentally spreads; the undead begin to infect crew and passengers.... They all begin to die and come back to 'life'... except a few... this handful of survivors comes face to horrifying face with the unimaginable, living dead.... With no place to run, they must fight to stay alive, try to land the 747 before it crashes or is shot down by the military.
This stylish thrill ride will keep you on the edge of your seat from the stunning opening to the astonishing conclusion!
Have a nice flight, fright fans!"

""'Plane Dead' is a special effects-packed sci-fi/horror/action thriller about a routine flight from LA to Paris "

The use of a Stabbing Westward song in a trailer for a Zombies on a Plane movie would be more appropriate to my anal-retentive nature if the Plane were travelling from Paris to LA.

Great concept, terrible title. It should either be "dead air," "zombies on a plane" or "flight of the living dead"
