Our Disney vs Ghibli deathmatch has been fought, we have a winner, and thus we also have winners for our Howl's Moving Castle lithograph and poster giveaway.

Here are the deathmatch results, as decided by totally random coin flip.

Round One: Totoro vs Mickey goes to Totoro. Jiji vs Pluto goes to Jiji. Laputa Robot vs Pinnochio goes, surprisingly, to Pinnochio. Tanuki vs Chip goes to Tanuki. No Face vs Goofy goes to Goofy in a match called by only a single entrant. Yakul vs Bambi goes to Yakul. Ohm vs Pumba goes to Ohm. Haku vs Witch goes to Haku. This sets up four second round matches of Totoro vs Jiji, Pinnochio vs Tanuki, Goofy vs Yakul, Ohm vs Witch.

Round Two: Our round two winners are Jiji, Pinnochio, Yakul and Ohm.

The Semis: Making it through to the semis? Jiji and the Ohm. Doesn't seem very fair, does it? Nope. Not at all.

And the winner? The wounded baby Ohm is the last creature standing. Those suckers can take a beating.

And our contest winners? Basically if you went with a Disney-heavy lineup you were hosed. And even among the Disney characters Goofy and Pinnochio - the sole Disney round one winners - were hugely unpopular and those two wins alone took a LOT of people out of contention. The winner, with ten correct picks, was Geert Jan. Tied with nine picks were Elaine V and Joseph Keenan - the only one to correctly pick the Ohm going all the way - and they take home the remaining two lithos.

Our three theatrical posters go to Kathie (seven picks), LT (six picks) and Edd, who was in a three way tie with five but was the only one of the three to make it out of the second round.

Congratulations to all of our winners and thanks to all who entered!
