Miramax Finally Releasing Zu Warriors?

Go figure ... announce a film, post a trailer, delay it, cancel it entirely, shelve it for years, announce that you're selling off rights to your Asian properties, and then? That's right! Set a new release date!

According to the Hollywood Stock Exchange Tsui Hark's martial arts fantasy Zu Warriors is now slated for an August 19th release. I've seen it, and it's not really all that, but it's worth commenting on just for the generally bizarre nature of Miramax's business practices. Seriously, do these guys have any plan at all or are they just making it up as they go along? The trailer is online here.
